Biography

Maka Cielecka


Maka Cielecka has a master’s diploma in graphic design from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. She worked as a graphic artist in Canada and in the Netherlands. Her extensive travels, which started in mid-90s, led her to Tbilisi, Georgia, where she became interested in weaving. Between 2005 and 2017 it was her main medium. Since 2017 she does mainly oil pastels.

Today she lives and works Warsaw, Poland.
